In life, you take steps, steps to be the person you are now. It took you years to be the person you are in front of the mirror and when you wake up in the morning you should feel beautiful. The inner aspect of that person in front of the mirror is the person that remains inculcated in the minds of the people you are connected to. You are deserving of love and hugs and kisses and happiness. Know that everyone who tried to value a person or a relationship, could relate to this moving on thing. I know things don’t seem clear, I know the bear he gave you still has his scent, the sweatshirt still fits perfectly, I know everything seems cloudy, I know the questions come pouring in, the doubts, the what if’s, it’s all okay.
Moving on is really the hardest part in every relationship. That’s why you always have to put it in your mind that when you love, you risk. You risk your emotions on either getting hurt or broken. You risk spending the happiest moments in your life to only have them taken away. You risk time, time you could be investing into someone else just to spend moments with the person dear to you. You risk your priorities that could have been there to make you a better person. You shouldn’t have to regret anything. We have to experience a bit of everything in life for us to be more mature and wise. Maturity does not really come with age. It comes with how you deal with the experiences that you have been through and how you plan to deal with the future experiences that you may go through. <3
